In 2000 Graham contracted cancer and this provided Graham with an opportunity to re-think his lifestyle and his future goals in life. During his rehabilitation period he was drawn towards a complementary therapy called Reflexology given to him at his local Hospice. He was so amazed by the improvements in both his mental and physical health after each and every treatment that he decided to study this therapy and qualify as a Reflexologist. Graham completed his training for hand and foot reflexology at Philip Salmon’s School of Reflexology in London England during the academic year 2001 – 2002. See www.energyworks.co.uk His tutors Philip Salmon & Anna Jeoffroy are two of the most eminent and highly qualified teaching Reflexologists in England. Graham found Philip’s & Anna’s course especially interesting because of the way they introduced their student’s to the principles of Vibrational Energy as well as Reflexology.
He is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) - see www.aor.org.uk - and holds professional public liability insurance for Reflexology, Facial Reflexology and Holistic Massage.
During 2004 Graham was a Volunteer Comforting Therapist providing reflexology treatments to In-Patients, Day-Care Patients, Patient’s families and staff at his local Hospice in West Sussex, England. In 2004 - 2005 Graham trained in Facial Reflexology (Sorensensistem ™) with Lone Sorenson López. See www.reflexologiafacial.es for more info. Lone is the internationally acclaimed Reflexology Therapist responsible for inventing, researching, & developing Facial Reflexology techniques. Lone together with the UK coordinator for Facial Reflexology Nikki Arriff, train post graduate reflexology therapists in her system of Facial Reflexology. He is a member of the Global Reflexology Network. This is a professional organization provided by Lone Sorensen López to keep in touch with her post graduate students. This organization also publishes regular research and development information about Facial Reflexology. In 2006 Graham studied Intestinal Links for Facial, Foot and Hand Reflexology with Lone to gain knowledge about her new methods to help him to work with the latest techniques for chronically ill clients.
Graham is the first fully qualified Facial Reflexologist (Sorensensistem™) in Cornwall, England.
In 2005 – 2006 he trained and qualified at Truro College, Cornwall, England in Holistic Massage (ITEC level 3 diploma) and is a full member of embody for you, the Complementary Therapist Association. He is based in Cornwall and offers his range of therapies in the Cornwall area.
